Yesterday the Federal Court in Melbourne ordered that records be released to the UFU, Greg McConville, and Melita Bozin, who are holders of entry permits under federal workplace laws.
The orders came after lawyers for the UFU lodged an application in the Federal Court, alleging that the ACT Government and Mr Brown had committed offences by hindering and obstructing the UFU permit holders in the performance of their functions under workplace law.
The orders are attached.
This means that the ACT Government must now release the documents sought to allow the UFU to investigate suspected contraventions of the enterprise agreement. The suspected contraventions relate to overtime, rest between shifts, and minimum crewing.
