Signal 7 of 12 April – Additional Protected Industrial Action to commence 18 April

The UFU has notified ACT Fire & Rescue that a further ban, on the wearing of uniform shirts, will commence at 8am on Thursday 18 April 2019.

The ban will apply across all ACT Fire & Rescue workplaces in respect of Firefighters 1st Class, 2nd Class, 3rd Class, Senior Firefighters, Station Officers, Commanders and Superintendents who are represented by the United Firefighters Union, who are employed by ACT Fire and Rescue and who will be covered by the proposed enterprise agreement.

UFU T shirts will be available for collection at stations 1, 4, and 8 in the week beginning 15 April. In addition, arrangements will be made for delivery to HQ and Training.
