Firefighters around the world stand in unity and solidarity on September 11, New York time, to remember those that perished that day at the World Trade Centre including those that made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their community.
In particular, we remember the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice and died on September 11, 2001 assisting their communities and those who have since passed away as a result of illness and injury resulting from their service .
