The Canberra Times reports on 28 June 2018 that Emergency Services Commissioner, Dominic Lane, says “there is no ‘conclusive proof’ that toxic PFAS fire fighting foams are linked to specific human diseases or illnesses”.
Now they report on 16 July 2018 that a “nature reserve next to Ginninderra Creek will be tested for PFAS contamination after the territory’s conservation boss raised concerns about the use of toxic fire fighting foams in the area.”
