November 20, 2017 by admin

A story from the Canberra Times dated 19 November reports the findings of a new study that emergency workers, including firefighters, who are already at increased risk from shiftwork and erratic hours, are paying a high psychological and physical price for being the first on the scene of deaths, traumas, violence, chaos, disease and extreme temperatures.
